Hello,
I was just wondering where all the "sweet spots" are for applying cylinder oil on RWS 6M. It says not to apply to compression chamber. Thanks again, Ted |

Adding anything to the compression chamber is a definite No-No!
RWS did make a "compression chamber" lube, but it still was a bad idea!
The volume of air being compressed ,
then exiting transfer port at extreme velocity... acts just like diesel engine!! So a springer will diesel when excessive lube is present!!
Only time a lube is used... Is when you rebuild it. After you put your new piston seal, you put a thin smear of High content Molybdenum Disulfide grease behind the "Lip" of the seal...
