|
|
1. Gamo Shadow 1000
2. Crosman Quest 1000x
I have chosen these two because I am not a multi millionaire (nor do i have a job yet) and it would take me forever to save up to get a rifle with all the bells and whistles so don't post if you are going to say "Forget that garbage and save up to get that million dollar *insert high end air gun manufacturer here and model # * you will never regret it!"
On the other hand if you have a suggestion as to which of these two I should get please reply.
Thanks. |

I wish that I had some experience with either one of these rifles so I could give an opinion.

I have a Crosman Phantom which is a Quest in a synthetic stock. I am very satisfied with the one I have. It shoots quietly with a "thud" sound and is very accurate with a scope and Crosman Premier pellets. I see them on sale for under 100 bucks all the time around here. I have a Quest 800X on order from BassPro as I like my 177 version so much, I want a 22cal in the same gun (different stock). _________________ one shot, one plate |

I don't have experience with either one but if you check some review sites, not sure if it's okay to post links so I'll play it safe there are tons of reviews on both guns.
Gamo Shadow 1000 has 205 reviews with an overall 9.1 rating
Quest 1000 has 47 reviews with an overall 7.8 rating
Do on search on google for 'review center' and look up the sport-shooting section.
Hope this helps.

well i cant say for everybody.. but i hated the stock. it felt to me.. like fake wood. and yea it had a "raised" cheek peice.. on the top, nothing came twords the shooter. didnt find it very accurate compaired to the shadow or shadow sport. i like the sport better because of the barrel. _________________ shoot straight
