I have killed about 150 birds so far with the Monsoon. It has not been without some frustration, and I had hopes of much higher numbers prior to undertaking this task. That said, I think this is the right tool for the job, as these waterfowl do not flinch when hit with a body shot to their downy mass. Clean head shots with follow ups are generally the order of the day. I am thinking of acquiring a Rapid in .20 cal. to see how well we do without the semi-auto feature. I would really like to maintain sight picture for second shot, but am not sure if it's possible with other rifles. These birds are known as mud-hens because they bob their heads so much, making them a challenging prey. Pictures coming next time. Keep forgetting the camera.
I will be interested in the comparison, of the 2 rifles.
