Hello
I would like to know if i can fit an Airstream MK5 reflex silencer on my about to come Daystate Airwolf MCT 40ft/lbs. I was told that because of the high power of the rifle the silencer will break after a number of shots. Is this true ?
Has anyone installed this silencer on his Airwolf ?
Will it fit on the shrouded barrel ?
Regards

The MKV is only slightly different from a MKIV, length and end caps IIRC.
It should NOT break off at 40 fpe
It won't be quiet. The reflex slides down over a portion of the shroud and has to be gun specific, Wolf or Air Ranger vs MKIV or X2.
Some guys have drilled the shroud 3-4cm from the fitting to vent the reflex blast back into the shroud. I've done it, but my AR puts out 50 fpe and at that level the factory shroud is worthless.
YMMV |
