Does anybody still buy anything at all from SS?
All of thier prices are jacked so high that I was just wondering
who on earth still buys anything from them?
Plus, they are so rude. Especially if you disagree with one of them.

Yea, that was a trip.
I called Kevin up on the phone to tell him about the problem I had with the product that I purchased from him and he went off on me. Next thing that I know, I'm banned from his silly forum.
I had expected him to be helpful and return my money as there is no way on earth that what he sold me would fit my gun. Even though he told me before I bought it, it would work fine.
They lost a lot of business by my friends and family by doing that to me.
It's kind of funny though as I came into a very large inheritance right after that and would have spent over 10,000 bucks with them. I bet Kevin would freak out if he knew about that as he is all about the benjimans.

SS is in my prayers.
I pray that they go out of business real soon.
That would really make my year.
I would actually celebrate.
So how do you like your new beezer?
I'm actually thinking of buying one of those.
How many shots do you get per fill?
The barrel is steel, right?
I just wondered because I've heard that some are made out brass.

Its made very well. The blueing is nice but not as deep as whats on our patriots. Pretty close though. The barrel is steel , there are very few plastic peices, only 2 that are like bushings for the bolt, could be machined from alum. or something else. I get 30 shots on a fill, but usually only take 20 and then its easier to pump. I want to get a tank soon. I know where to get a carbon fiber scuba tank thats rated to 4250psi and holds 103cf. My BSA is a 232 bar gun so I think I will have to rebuild the pump sooner then normal. I have a BSA /HILL pump and even get my BSA pellets(made by JSB ) and the rifle all from sportsmans wharehouse. And sope from cheaperthandirt.com. We still need to get together and shoot something. I'd love to shoot those cannons you got. _________________ Gun Control is hitting what you aim at... |
